This guide explains how to configure multi-language localization, customize translation strings, handle Right-to-Left (RTL) layouts, and troubleshoot common operational questions in IPFlow.
Licensing System & 72-Hour Offline Grace Period
IPFlow connects to the RoostKit licensing engine to validate your License Key upon activation and automatically caches validation status locally for 24 hours:
- Instant Local Validation: Your WHMCS server does not need to make an external request for every page load or customer checkout.
- 72-Hour Offline Grace Period: If your server temporarily loses Internet access or the licensing server is unreachable during network maintenance, IPFlow provides a built-in 72-hour grace period during which all automated customer provisioning and IP assignments continue working without interruption.
- Re-validating Your License: Go to Settings & Licensing and click Re-Validate License at any time to refresh your license metrics.
Multi-Language & RTL Support
IPFlow includes 21 native translations out-of-the-box and automatically adapts to each administrator’s or client’s preferred language in WHMCS.
21 Supported Languages:
- English (Master Dictionary)
- Persian / Farsi (فارسی) (Native RTL)
- Arabic (العربية) (Native RTL)
- Hebrew (עברית) (Native RTL)
- Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (BR & PT), Russian, Turkish, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Czech, Croatian, and Catalan.
Automatic Right-to-Left (RTL) Layout
When an admin or client switches to an RTL language (such as Farsi, Arabic, or Hebrew), IPFlow automatically mirrors its tables, navigation tabs, modal popups, and badges for a native reading experience.
Customizing Translations (Language Overrides)
To change any wording, button label, or message in IPFlow without having your modifications overwritten during future updates:
- In your WHMCS installation, navigate to:
text
modules/addons/ipflow/lang/ - Create a folder named
overrides/if it does not already exist:
text
modules/addons/ipflow/lang/overrides/ - Inside
overrides/, create a PHP file matching your language name (e.g.english.phporfarsi.php). - Define only the specific phrases you wish to customize:
<?php
// modules/addons/ipflow/lang/overrides/english.php
$_ADDONLANG['subnets_title'] = 'Enterprise Network Pools';
$_ADDONLANG['ips_title'] = 'Fleet IP Directory';
$_ADDONLANG['btn_add_subnet'] = '+ Provision New Subnet';
IPFlow will load your custom strings while keeping all other standard translations intact.
